NEW CCBill900 Billing Option

E-Ticket Price Rates
$12.95 - $16.95 - 25%
$19.95 - $25.00 - 22.5%
$29.95 - $34.95 - 20%

More details

Each CCBill900 charge which is applied to a consumer's telephone bill is collected from the phone carrier by CCBill. The typical phone billing cycle is one month in duration following the transaction. The carrier pays CCBill a remittance, net of their fees, approximately 60 days after the end of the next billing cycle. You get paid by CCBill once those funds have been received from the telephone carriers, after the typical cycle has completed, approximately 90 - 120 days after the initial transaction takes place.

As our Industry continues to change, it is our goal at CCBill to continually offer you innovative solutions to support your website's success today, tomorrow and into the future. If you have any questions or problems regarding CCBill900 or any other CCBill service or feature, please feel free to contact us at [email protected] or call us at 800.510.2859.

Interesting to say the least, but is 3-4mnths the usual when collecting from dialers?

What % of members would use the 900 option? Is it worth it?

With ibill, I do less than 10% but 900 billing adds to the bottom line. A check is a check! Most customers that join thru ibill 900# have problems accessing the site. I'm always doing a manual ad, thru the web admin ccbill form

I was just looking into this option with iBill this week and this is directly from a sales rep at iBill:

"The Payout of the web900 is 3 months in arrears and there is a 20% charge, a 25% reserve and the maximum dollar amount is $35.00. Unfortunately this is out of our control."

25% reserve? Fuck man, I'd already be waiting 3 months to get paid. Is a 25% reserve really necessary?

What is the reserve, if any with CCBill?

20% reserve is the norm for telephone billing. The extra 5% is probably just alittle more extra insurance.

Most dialer companies pay from every two weeks (no holds) to 30-45 days end of month.

ProBilling charges a flat 19.5% on all 900Pay transactions, and you wait 5 days to get paid, not 3 months or more!

Just a little background on how we differ from other 900Pay providers. We collect all consumer information and do a full transaction fraud scrub on all 900 pay transactions . Our supplier also uses this information to determine if the POS consumer data matches the information they have on the location and owner of the phone number making the call. This is one of the reasons that we can offer a few things that others can't:

-Weekly payments, with a hold of only 5 days, just like the rest of proBilling transactions

-Low, Low chargebacks. ProBilling 900Pay chargebacks average around 3%, compared to other 900 provider's average returns of well over 15%.

-Consumer information is available to the merchant to assist them in collections of any chargebacks.

There is a disadvantage to this system however. You won't receive as much volume as using some of our competitors as some questionable consumers will not pass our fraud/ risk evaluations. But why would you want to accept this volume if:

-After providing the service or site access a large amount of the transactions are charged back, meaning you deliver, but don't get paid for it

-You don't have enough information to try to collect from the consumer that received the service or site access after they charge back the transaction.

-You don't receive what's left of your money for over 60 days

...Also look for a major revision of our 900Pay consumer process soon, streamlining and simplifying it for more sales for our merchants!

Sounds great but look at the steps the CCbill user has to go thru to make a 900 call.

Why can't it be as simple as call this number 1900 blah blah you will be charged XX.XX? I just think user are gonna be put off when they have to enter e-mail, their phone # in a field before they call and all that personal info. If you are gonna ask for all that stuff you may as well charge by ACH of credit card...

I always thought the point of phone billing was it was fast and easy for the user and they didnt have to fill shit out? Just call the number and have access without doing anything else.

Whats a good 900 biller thats not iBill where the process is simple for the user? Best converting one out there please. Looking for one that could suit my needs

lemme know

I'm a Nasty Dollar affiliate just like half of this board...

I just got a fat check from their additional billing sales. Which a big part of that being USA 900 sales.

The company they are using is: http://gx900.com

Looks like their rates are the same as normal but they allow sites to custimize the pages to increase conversions. They must have affiliate tracking, because I am getting credit for sales. They have a pretty straight forward and slick system. The user does not have to fill anything out until they make a call.. So it is real simple.

Another feature they have built in is geo tracking the non USA traffic to a dialer so you don't lose your international traffic that wants to pay by phone.

The more billing options with ccbill the better, however I won?t be using the 900 option if the users are allowed to choose their own usernames/passwords I haven't looked into that side of it yet.
just thinking out loud

So how do all of you like ccbill900 so far? Do you think that it takes away from some of your credit card sales? Anyone try it and stop using it?

Thanks.

Can anyone give me the actual 900 number (or at least one of the 900 numbers) users call if they use the CCbill900 option? Or, can you share a site that is using this billing option? I would like to try and go through the join process for myself to try it out. Thanks.
