mpeg compression on a 10 second clip
The quality is ok but it's only 1mb.
could anyone do better than this. Feel free to post links to programs and or mpg files. or contact me, maybe we have something to share. #154206276  |

I've given up with my shitty MPEG encoder, I'm using WMV from now on. I mean, a 50 meg WMV looks 10x better than a 90 meg MPEG. Am I doing something wrong?

i've come to the same conclusion. it is true that more people have the ABILITY to download mpg files, but the tradeoff is that more people will actually SEE wmv files because they take less time to download . image quality wise wmv files are about half the size of mpeg files at a given image quality, based on what my eyes tell me. and when i actually changed samples to wmv MORE people download them, that's what my stats tell me. |
