Um I really don't think it was a fuck up... Bush was well aware that there were no wmd, it was just the excuse he needed to invade. It's not as if anyone outside the US ever thought otherwise.

even if they didn't have nukes we needed to do this.

We will know if it was for peace or oil in the next 10 years.

We will have to do this to a few parts of the world or it will all be for the oil

It doesn't matter if Iraq was a threat or not to us, it was to Israel, and the Jewish power elite in the US lobbied to take Iraq out.
