Insomnia...who's got it?
Well it's 4:30 am and I can't sleep. This is happening too often.
I took melatonin...nothing. Sleeping pills don't work. Nyquil barely works any more either. I know booze works but I don't want to become a fucking wino. Any tips? |

I took vicodin tonight, and I'm still up... I have class tomorrow too. It's gonna suck.

I get insomnia when the moon is full.
Seriously. From about 2 days before to 2 days after full moon.

Insomnia seems way to common in this biz.
I had flunitrazepam on prescription for about a year... was pretty sweet, back to not sleeping now tho ;(

I have it every now and then.
Don't fight it. When I know I can't sleep I get up and work for couple of days instead. Works for me |

help for insomnia:
1) have a child. ( you'll sleep whenever the hell they are ) 2) run a few miles every day. ( or until you pass out on side of road) 3) detox your body, eat brown rice,(ask dr's advice or nutritionist) cut down on fatty food, drink a lot of water ( not sugar water) get off caffine/nicotine, work out /jog every day. |

I have been trying the jogging thing and working out. It does help usually, but tonight it seemed to wake me up even more. |

i had a prob like this a while ago, i had to detox, quit smoking and give up caffine (over about a 2 yr period) as well as have a child before it settled. i had it pretty bad for years tho.. could only sleep when totally wrecked.. i remember not sleeping for 2-3 nights.. by that time i felt very awake, i think the body might use adrenaline or some similar chemical at certain points to give you the energy you may need to 'keep running from the large tusked woolly mammoth' etc. anyway, good luck!
