You don't have to work hard to make $100 a day... But in that case you have to work smart, that's the key.

;)

Not everyone on here is wealthy, the average adult webmaster probably makes like $2k/month

That means for everyone making $50k+ per month there's some goofball making 40¢/mo

Average adult webmaster making only $2k/month?

You can make that much being a low-level, no-skill customer support rep.

I think most make less than 100 per day actually

When I was beginning in business I met a wealthy guy who shared a lot of his wisdom and experiences in making money with me. One day we were sitting talking about the way people form goals on how much money they think they can make.

He asked me how much money was the most I thought I could make in a year being in my 20's. I said back to him, "$50,000 to $100,000 would be great for someone my age and probably what most would say". He said, "yes, you're right, 99% of the young people I ask that question to say the same numbers".

He then got out his checkbook and wrote out 2 checks and tossed them on the floor and told me to reach down and pick them both up at the same time using my left hand for one and my right hand for the other. I did so.

Then he said, "now look at the checks and read out loud the amounts". I said, "one is for $1,000 and the other is for $1,000,000".

Now he said, "tell me which one was harder to pick up off the floor?"

I thought for a second, smiled and said, "they were the same".

Lesson learned!

A check with 6 zero's doesn't weigh any heavier than a check with 2. So why not figure out how to get the first one instead.

Amen to that. There are millions (ok billions) of people who "work hard" every day who are poor and miserable. A lot of the ones making the large coin worked hard (and smart) for a long time ... now they've got the sheep doing their hard work for them.

I understand what Brandon means by $100 because that is what is considered the dividing line between it being worthwhile to be self employed or to go out and get a day job. Andy Dunn was the first person to ever float that number around.

Nice way to put it KRL, always think like a millionaire and you will eventually become like one if you're motivated.
