You win some, you lose some. I have spent hours on something that had paid me nothing & I have spent 2 minutes every 2 days and made $400 per month.....

I just enjoy fucking around on here for a hobby and looking at porn pics i like + building sites, besides the day job pays $40,000 for 5 hours work 6 days a week anyway. I struggle through lol

cspdinc 01-29-2004 07:01 AM

I thought it went without saying, that they were a virtual starting point for everything www... you know how much time it takes to do all of that?.... :Graucho

but thanks.. I'm a newbie on posting (here) and I forgot and assumed that everyone is a friendly, I do know better, I will need to think smarter or go back to not posting ever again,
like I said, trial and error. I won't repeat that one...
strike one on me.
thanks.

I would change that work fuckin hard., to "work fuck'in smart, not hard". The more you learn, the easier it is to make money and the more money you'll make. The internet is a wealth of information.

When I first started in 96, I spent 12 to 14 hours a day not only working on my sites, but learning how to market, html, programming, etc.. I now spend less than 3 hours a day working unless I'm getting a new site ready. With the programming I learned, I now spend my time writing programs to do the work that I would otherwise do by hand. I don't spam or anything else like that.

If you want to make some real money. Think outside of the box. Don't do what everybody else is doing. Your too late in the game when you do that. Come up with something unique. It doesn't have to be totally unique. It could be something just alittle different than is out there now. If it's even alittle unique and there is demand out there for it, you'll bring in plenty of cash. My friends that are making good money are doing things that hardly anybody else is doing out there right now. There are plenty of niche sites that haven't been fully tapped into for example.

Krille 01-29-2004 07:31 AM

wow thanks for the advice, i allready made $10k this week from your advice :Graucho

So many people think with just a 2 zero mentality. Let's change that now.

When I was beginning in business I met a wealthy guy who shared a lot of his wisdom and experiences in making money with me. One day we were sitting talking about the way people form goals on how much money they think they can make.

He asked me how much money was the most I thought I could make in a year being in my 20's. I said back to him, "$50,000 to $100,000 would be great for someone my age and probably what most would say". He said, "yes, you're right, 99% of the young people I ask that question to say the same numbers".

He then got out his checkbook and wrote out 2 checks and tossed them on the floor and told me to reach down and pick them both up at the same time using my left hand for one and my right hand for the other. I did so.

Then he said, "now look at the checks and read out loud the amounts". I said, "one is for $1,000 and the other is for $1,000,000".

Now he said, "tell me which one was harder to pick up off the floor?"

I thought for a second, smiled and said, "they were the same".

Lesson learned!

A check with 6 zero's doesn't weigh any heavier than a check with 2. So why not figure out how to get the first one instead.

Everyone has the same 24 hours in a day. Same access to resources. Same ways to get capital if needed.

No excuses guys, think BIG instead of small.

Its really that simple.

I've been going for $100,000 per day myself. I think I'd be happy when making that. That's atleast my retirement time. Make $100,000 per day and then retire after selling the company(ies).

I'm 46, learned the hard way on my own, and have been through the grinder of business for a couple decades. Just trying to help save a lot you young guys time and money, so you don't fall into the pitfalls, make the mistakes, etc. so many inevitably do during the early phases of entrepreneuring.

I'm not a genius by any means. I just work hard to learn as many things as I can. Knowledge is power. It gives you the edge to beat your competition. Sharing your knowledge with others traveling the same road is very spiritually rewarding to me inside and a part of giving back like others gave back to me when I was young.

It goes really fast guys. Before you know it your an old dog like me. It seems like yesterday I was like a lot of you here. The greatest thing is to make it when you're young so you have lots of great years before your body, energy and stamina start to wear down and age. I'd give anything to be back to my 20's with all the wisdom and knowledge I have now.

But the clock keeps ticking and part of the joy now is sharing things you learned so others can keep creating and building the world more and more. I want my 9 year old son to have something great ahead for him. Each generation has to pass on to the next. That's how this planet perpetuates itself and keeps getting better for most people and more technologically advanced.

:)

Wish this thread was about how to make $1,000/day per website...

JunkyardDog 01-29-2004 11:12 PM

yep hard work and some creativity and you can do it for sure. Also helps to take a few chances and risks to further advance yourself and earning potential.

This 19 inch KDS shows me the internet just as good as the $1000 flatscreens and it sits the same on this $100 desk as it would on a $5000 one. If you ALWAYS look for opportunities they will show themselves to you a hundred times a day.
There's no ONE day in my life that I don't come across few and for me, it just a matter of picking the better ones.
