I agree, I badly need to hire someone to write text/s for me. A full time worker at a reasonable price would hugley improve my bottom line. But still, I see no fucking link to this site?

You probably are wishing REALLY hard its a lie cuz you charge 4 to 5 times what labor costs in the Philippines. it's probably happening already it will probably be fully announced soon.

- I bit the $350 salary range because as i said it was good enough for me here. But
it does not in anyway represent the true value of my work. I believe i worth more
than that.

- I have no intention nor desire to compete with any outsourcing company here.

Anyone consider that you can hire a home grown webmaster for $3500 a month who can do 10 times the work of these outsourced guys (not to mention the quality)?

When you factor in communication problems, time zones and the opportunity cost of your wasted time, these guys are much more than $200-$350 per month.

And I haven't even said anything about the fact that it is so difficult to find someone who truly understands what an adult surfer wants to see. Believe it or not, there is a skill to this game.

For every 1 person who raves about their great outsourced experience, you will find 100 who complain.

350 for 48 hours a month sounds like slaves to me, even if i would go bring around papers i would earn more

btw a lot of people only look at the hour-rate... but don't forget that a more experienced programmer/desinger might be more expensive, but he'll probably also need less time to make what you need, which results in the same price or maybe a bit higher, but at least you've got it done professional (especially with large projects, there is a big difference in quality)

i just spent a month fixing a ton of stuff that a buddy of mine had after he had 3 of those outsourced guys from overseas working on his stuff. what a friggin mess that was. i had thought about hiring some of them myself, for simple shit, then after is saw what he went thru, screw it. better off doing it yourself, or hiring someone at a decent wage to get it right the first time...:2 cents:

I've just hired my first webmaster (at $800 a month i might add), and he's doing okay.

I had him do alot of repetitive work i didn't like anymore. The shitty part is, i can do that stuff in under 5 minutes a pop, this guy takes well over 10 minutes per job :( Oh well, he can do this stuff 8 hours a day, that adds op :glugglug

I expected more from this guy, but still, i'm not unhappy afterall.
