I had a couple at $900 a month. They were good for building free hosted galleries and banners...well one of them was. The second guy we let go...couldn't even make a usable banner.

Insist on a free week long trial to make sure you have some one worth a damn. Even cheap labor isn't free.

How do folks who use outsourced HTML people handle things like copywriting and wording?

Do you provide a flat file with info for each page? Fax a drawing?

I have several projects I'd love to outsource, but I am wondering how I could do it without having to go through and rewrite a lot of stuff each time.

Is there anyone out there actually doing this for the bulk of their sites?

Being a Filipino myself, i can attest to the fact that Filipinos are really good in
the English language and not only that, we can speak English without the accent.

As a side note i would like to share with you a funny story that i came across with
one of our local papers here.

WHO SAID THAT? : We've heard many stories about Filipios and other Asian children excelling
in class in America. Many of these kids, some of them newly emigrated to the US, were just

ordinary students back int Philippines.

With that pat on the back, we share this story e-mailed to us yesterday by reader Bobby

If the guy can guarantee the performance of the webmaster he supplies, then great! I can only speak from personal experience and I got my fingers burnt and ended up with more cost and time repairing the fuck ups that occured by myself trying to save money in the first place.

After that, I outsourced my stuff to http://xxxoutsourcing.com and I've not looked back since.

It's not slave labor, they make allot more than working the fields and hell better than being burnt by the sun. $200 can go a long way where they live. Shit I heard of Filipino maids working in Hong Kong for next to nothing and their family's back home live like kings.

LOL, you only have them 8-12 hours a day. People in plantations get up at 5 in the morning and work under the sun until the sun until it's dark. Most of us have never seen hard work unless you worked on a farm.

If you charge close to $350 or $200 (according to my buddies in Thailand & the Philippines the average wage of a COLLEGE - EDUCATED person there ranges from $3 to $6 a DAY... not an hour... A DAY)

So, take it easy on the drama and start cutting your price.

I bet you there's going to be a TON of outsourcing that is already happening and you and people like you who charge more than 2 times your cost will soon be out of business.

This whole thread just amazes me, honestly.
For these kinds of prices any newbie could double or even triple the work they're doing and theoretically double or triple their income.

Definitely something to think about, and priced this low it's not like you're risking a hell of a lot to find out what the quality is like.
