Haha, nope. Designers have taken nothing to another level. You obvioulsy haven't compared signups on simple, non graphical designs to slick ones.

As for why I have designers....

a) We sell designs. Gotta give the customers what they want.
b) Working on some paysites we may choose to have affiliates for. Most affiliates want slick.

Its very conservative, I do not use howitzers when a .22 is needed.n (end plug) Anyways... I seen all the numbers. I know numbers from the biggest places in the world dating back to 1996... I know the numbers myself and have the experience to know for a fact Well designed works rule over text basic ones. Go and say the wrong thing on a tour and no matter how it looks it wont sell. Ya say the right thing it will sell. Ya say the right thing with a good design yourt numbers will improve. That shit is a fact. Numbers are numbers and when ya try something and it fails you try something different. C-mon you know this... But ya can not sit there and tell me a text tour will out perform somthing that is layed out with some effort in design. A webmaster that likes a tour for just the way it looks alone is an idiot. It has to work and it will be tested... No matter how it looks if the numbers say no...
