Mailing List Scripts? What do you suggest?
This project is for somebody mainstream (non-adult).
I'm not a spammer nor am I looking for a "bulk email client" but I'm sure they make the best scripts. I have a friend that owns a nightclub and I need to get his stuff running perfectly. I don't have the time nor the energy to get it even spec'ed out for him or really even search for the best. I just have to find a server side boxed solution (php or perl is fine) that I can install and have it running so it done and over with. Here is what it needs. Nothing major, HOWEVER, I am having a problem with HTML compatibility with all emails clients and some free email services such as Yahoo! and Hotmail. 1) Double Opt-In & Opt-Out Capabilities 2) Remove List & Dup Checker (checks against remove upon sending) 4) Full HTML Compatibility with all free email services, Eudora, Outlook and any major Mac email clients. 4) Simple but thorough front and back end since he or one his employees will be running it. 5) His list isn't very large. Under 10k. Most likely it will be running from Sendmail or Qmail on a Unix platform. Let me know what you guys suggest. Thanks! |
