Do small programs convert better?

Hello, i need to hear your opinions because sometimes smaller programs with not so good sites/content convert better than the bigger ones. Will surfers join any bad new site only because it's new?
I mean you can always convert with new internet surfers, traffic from SE, etc. but what can you sell to some porn addict that has seen all? Only something new? Or something old but marketed in a different way?

I have had no problems with smaller sponsors. Usually have good luck making sales with them compared to bigger ones that are out there all over the place.

They do convert better, imo, but retention matters on whether or not they have *enough* content inside... alot of new programs often try to launch before they have adequate content to offer their members.

I would guess that these smaller programs convert better because they are not as overexposed as the big ones. Less competition promoting them. Less chance of them already having joined that site with some one else's referral code.

I think it depends on what type of site it is. For reality sites, I think they work better if they don't look quite as clean and 'polished' as you'd get with the bigger sites.

The current exposure of a site and the way you pitch it are also important.

I think small sites where the user can see that somebody is spending a lot of efforts in are doing better. If you run about 10 personal site which each 200 members, I think this will be fine
