What is the well known port for DNS servers?
53

which protocol is used to allow hosts to convert between network and link layer addresses?
In the case of IP as the network layer, and specifically with Ethernet as the link layer, there are two protocols that aid in this translation of addresses, ARP and RARP.

What is the name given to a packet at the transport level?
Transport protocols occupy layer 4 of the OSI protocol model. The transport layer sits on top of layer 3 networking services. In the Internet Protocol suite, TCP provides transport services, while IP provides network services. Here are some transport protocals
TCP, ARP, RARP;SPX,NWLink,NetBIOS/NetBEUI,ATP

What is the netmask for a /22 network?

11111111.11111111.11111100.00000000
255.255.252.0

What class is the 11.0.0.0 network?
A

What is the binary prefix for a multicast address?
1111 1111

Operating Systems:

What causes a system interrupt?
A BOLT OF LIGHTNING.. Don't laugh it happened to me twice..... Can't give you everything.
