How do you transfer from .mov format to .mpeg? - GoFuckYourself.com

the only way I know how to do it is to go from .mov to .avi and THEN to .mpeg, but thats a pain in the ass.

anyone know how to go right from mov to mpg?

if you have QuickTime Player, you can convert the .MOV to .MPG with TMPGEnc and QTReader

wouldnt it be nice if you could just rename the file extention to whatever you prefer and windows would update the file??? mmmm...

Use TPMGEnc and they have a quicktime codec for the program. Then you can convert from .mov to .mpeg

thats a better explanation
Get TMPGEnc and get the Quicktime codec for TPMGEnc

i downloaded qtreader and it worked, you just saved me an hour of bs encoding

You can also use Cleaner to do it. Cleaner is now a Discreet product, but maybe you can still get a 5.x copy from somewhere. It also comes with Adobe Premiere, but only the "Light" version.
