Yeah, but his best stuff is with Mr. Bungle, and assorted John Zorn projects that he has been involved with, IMO....

- Q.

highly agreed. :thumbsup

i didn't think anyone would have recognized Mr. Bungle or Tomahawk etc. i stuck with his better known work for reference sake.

My parents took me to a YES concert when i was young. It sucked. It was like Rush without the badass drums.

Pete 01-16-2004 06:53 PM

Definately Rob Halford from Judas Priest

Micheal Stipe is awesome as well. Reminds me of another great singer, Ed Kowalcyk from Live. Amazing.

But Maynard is still better.

Now that's more like it. Someone else with a good ear.

Fletch XXX 01-16-2004 07:44 PM

because most of you dont even know a good voice:

http://www.giveuptheghost.com/
http://www.goatwhore.net
http://www.eyehategod.com

I recommend:

<a href=http://www.eyehategod.com/TANFP/07-Take_as_Needed_For_Pain.mp3>Eyehategod: Take As needed For Pain</a>
<a href=http://speedealeronline.com/mp3/speedealer-killmyselftonight.mp3>Speedealer: Kill Myself Tonight</a>

voice is only an instrument. it goes best with others.

And I am gonna blame Portnoy and Petrucci for LaBrie's shitty vocal melodies on the last 2 albums... they can't produce for shit and have really contributed to my intolerance for LaBrie

Queen - Freddy kicked ass!

One of my favorite bands ever!

Pink Flyod - Rogers Waters was cool too!

Finn 01-16-2004 10:19 PM

I have many favorites, some of them

I cannot understand, has no one heard of YES and Jon Anderson?

But the best Rock and Roll singer has to go to Elvis.
