The ratio of good third world designers to bad is pretty low. For a starters far fewer have computers :) I was looking at outsourcing a few things to the ukraine but only stuff like image retouching cropping etc.. nothing like designing or anything that comes back with spelling mistakes all the way through it.

I am looking for someone who knows the biz well. I have many ventures on the go and no time to babysit. If you think you can actually tell me what you will do with my projects instead of me giving you all the direction, then contact me at

[email protected]

Note that I need someone with all round skills, marketing, site building, ability to do dirty work like installing scripts (nothing big obviously) and making freesites. I also require tgp making and submitting using tgpwizards or other such program.

If your the type of person who wants to make a wage working on someone elses stuff and have lots of experience, contact me with your best shot at selling yourself to me. I dont want a resume but I do want you to talk to me.

Bell if you email me asking what it is I am looking for I wont be answering. If your the one looking for work you had better be the one willing to put the time into the email marketing yourself to me. (picking on you because I cant believe you asked a potential employer to post something FOR YOU)

lol.. that is why i got "Haji" on the phone . I reamed his ass for getting paid for a job that he has no idea what he is doing..let alone try to communicate it to someone that doesnt understand "indian english".:1orglaugh

Way to keep Americans employed Brad.

Brad missed Bush's Diner Stunt. You remember the one where he was flipping burgers and telling reporters that if they bought a burger in this diner the owner would solve the unemployment problem. Great leader the US has.

We've been looking for 4 weeks for a girl to train into a photographer, been a nightmare but I think we might have someone. If she turns up tomorrow.

Brad,

did you also hear that they are VERY likely to move it all back to the states because 90% of the people that called their support complained about it later because of not understanding half of what was said?

Outsourcing internal people might be a good idea, for example programmers and the like. But SUPPORT to india? To have them actually talk to your clients? I would never suggest that.

pornkitten 01-25-2004 05:53 PM

we are hiring with little pay and no benefits

Indian people are usually far more fluent in English than the average American.

In england a lot of jobs like in call centres, administration jobs have moved to india and a lot of programming is sent out there too. Maybe its not so widespread in USA because there are not so many indians living there, who would be the best people with links back home to organise things. I have friends in UK who've lost jobs to india, the reg even made a t-shirt:

I think its like once one firm starts doing it and saves a bit the rest have to follow to compete.
