are you convering the judgements? part of the deal on those judge shows a portion if not all of the judgement is covered with them going on the show

why waste time going on your show then? If i cant get the court to infource 100k judgements what are you going to do but waste my time which could be better spent taking a shit or something like that

Only way I can see it work is if both parties not only agree to the judgment but also put up a bond. Because I doubt a Court will allow the judgments of such arbitration to be docketed. Arbitrators have hours of training and years of exp. handling claims or have been a Judge before hand.

This will definitely be good for a laugh if nothing else...certainly you will want bonds in place getting agreement from both parties that they will agree to your decision - especially as you aren't a judge.

Jason raises a good point...on behalf of the people who have suffered at the bottom of YNOTBobs sack I must protest and say i want in. This picture has caused me undue stress as I feel that seeing his balls looking like ears on my head has giving me an unfair feeling of distain towards Mickey Mouse.

Actually, generally anyone can be an arbitrator.

So if you and I have a dispute, we agree to have the hot dog vendor on the corner arbitrate our dispute. The vendor hears our arguments and awards me $50,000. So long as we agreed that that the hot dog vendor's arbitration was "final and binding" and that "the decision is enforceable in any court of competant jurisdiction", I can take the hot dog vendor's decision to a court and have a judgment entered against you for $50,000.

Now obviously, there are some decisions that are unenforceable because of public policy reasons (illegality, for example). However, if you stick with money and "give him his content back" type decisions, you can do a lot.
