your opinion on $30/month or $35/month membership
what is your opinion on charging the surfer $30 or $35 on a REALITY site with 1-2 weekly updates and access to 3 other reality sites?
do you think it helps conversions to charge $5 less or what about chargebacks? |

there really is no difference, i would charge $39.99 a month, provided you have a nice AMOUNT of content and updates.
Do i think it helps conversions charging 5 bucks less, NOPE.

when the new chargeback stuff with visa first came up, i talked with a couple different folks at epoch. they said sites under $30 had less chargebacks than sites over $30. they were very clear about this.
why not ask your processor this question? they will have thousands and thousands of transactions overall so their info will be pretty useful. also i was told when we were at ccbill that $24.95 has better rebills than $29.95. anyone care to comment?

I'm also curious about this...if a paysite at $19.95 currently is converting at 1:500 overall on front page hits, how badly would changing the price to $29.95 affect conversions?
