best chip for a dell laptop?
im confused with the 23423 types of intel chips for laptops now?
any suggestings? i was thinking p4 with htt thanks! |

Which laptop are you looking at?
the P4 is a desktop chip, so the computers are heavier and run hotter, but are cheaper. The Pentium M is a notebook processor, and wil make the computer lighter. |

well i use a laptop daily...and bring it along with me when i travel
i guess i just want the fastest chip. im not too worried about weight/heat. i just wasnt sure if a pent M 1.7 was better than a p4 3.2 thanks for the help |
