The best way to avoid spam is to have two e-mail accounts, on for businesses and other to give away on the internet when you need it...

We've resorted to Spamarrest.com

Tried all the filters and after I started getting upwards of 6000 spam/virus an hour, my OUtlook just died.

Using something like Mailwasher took days to cleanse my inbox.
All my filtered keywords, etc were getting bypassed clogged up or just skipped because the way they vary spellings etc.

I'm now getting zero spam and only real emails. That's what I said, Zero spam. I haven't received one paris hilton email.

free download too.

Good luck!
