Ever Delt with Earthlink?

Dayummmm - what a bunch of retarded assholes.

I signed up for their service so that I could have internet access when I was on the road for MacandBumble.com - during our tour accross the US. I called twice tonight to try to cancel that service now that the tour has ended - and ended up getting lost in their phone-tree and couldn't figure out how in the hell to reach a real person. I sent email to support and all they told me was to "try again" - fucking assholes! Still haven't gotten this resolved yet.

You have any Earthlink horror stories?

I have a couple dial up accounts with them. The service itself isnt all that bad but yea when you need support its a joke.

I called about a problem not long ago and the tech was swearing and talking in ebonics to me. He couldn't get his computer to work right. It was some funny shit.

Glad I dont have to deal with them much. The company that provides my high speed is much more professional.

You were talking to India... they outsourced all their support to India.


You should have asked for a SLURPEE...now, that would get you quick service.

No - I never talked to anyone - couldn't figure out how the hell to get anyone on the phone. Just kept going around in circles trying to figure out which department I needed to get to in order to cancel my freak'n subscription. You know..."press 1 for this department, press 2 for this one and when I press 1, it says...for this press 1 and for this press 2" and the shit never ended.

Finally decided to just report my card lost/stolen and have a replacement shipped out within 48 hours. Now I don't have to worry about them billing me and they'll cancel my subscription for me once they figure out they ain't getting no money from me
