Trying to figure out why I cannot acess some web pages, but I have no problem accessing others. For instance, it seems that I am only having trouble opening the windows update page, the dell downloads page, and my email. Every other page will load just fine. Running Windows XP - any solutions?

also meant to mention that I have McAfee Firewall installed - not sure if this could be causing it. I have it installed on all my other comps and haven't run across this issue, but ya never know.

1) check DNS servers
2) if you use proxy, check DNS servers for proxy 3) run a trace, see if it stops somewhere, maybe some of your upstreams are running a filter of some sort 4) call ISP, ask wtf is going on 5) get a beer, wait, maybe it will fix itself HIH |
