my ccbill sales are going downhill
I am promoting something like 50 ccbill programs as an affiliate. Usually the signup ratio is between 1:500 to 1:800. In November it went down to 1:1000 and now in December it is 1:2150. Looks a bit strange to me. Anybody having the same problem?

My conversions with ccbill have always been shit. I wish certain sponsors would offer another option. I like their programs and I find it hard to beleive they don't convert as well as a lot of other non-ccbill sites.

There will in most cases be a sales drop off in Dec. Our program has not noticed it really, but some of our affiliates have noticed a drop in sales to all of the programs they promote. Its just part of the normal sales path called the "holiday slowdown". Before you do anything rash as the one man crusader above has stated... stay the course and watch sales go back up to normal or above normal levels starting around Jan 5th... That the day the kiddies are back in school. All will be well. We are still waiting to see your traffic sources. I wish you pushed my program so I could see how and where your traffic comes from. Anyone who sends 30k in uniques without a sale is doing something wrong. It must to be the traffic... It's sure not a ccbill issue. Have you talked to the sponsor to find out how many form page hits your traffic had? The admin does give your sponsor that info. That would be a very interesting stat and one you should look into before slamming the processor. Could very well be you only had 10 form hits.. Sure would be nice if you would give up some REAL info, but i know....you "dont have to prove a thing".. You are allowed to make blind, unfounded accusations without anything to back up your claims. ![]()

My stats are a bit better since the new interface went online. They were really bad from Sept. up until the recent change though.

As a pay site owner who runs affiliate programmes using CCBill, I would like to know how many of yoou guys actually use any of the promotional material that we offer you..
I know from the many affiliates I have, that only about 4 actually use any of the galleries or images I provide. Those that do or even make their own galleries get sales.. The lazy ones who just have one banner a link to the sites tours do FUCK ALL. Talking to other pay site owners we think that most afiliates are lazy bastards who want to make a buck doing as little work as possible.. One of my best affiliates runs his own tgp's and links sites and made a great area on his sites to sell one of mine and his sales are 1:350 at the moment and he sends 1500-2000 hits a day to the site. I have others who send more traffic and their sales are 0:3000 as they think that having a link on a high traffic site will get them a sale.. So put some work in to selling the sites that you're affiliates of and stop moaning.. |

Im sorry Pornjudge that you are having a problem, but you look like a man with a grudge.. not a man looking for a solution.
I send about 50k a week to my sponsors.. all are ccbill except for nastydollors. My overall ratio to all my sponsors is 1:700. Thats a combined ratio over 20 sponsors that i run off my exits. Now.. I do have very targeted traffic which we have worked very hard to get. While JoeA's comments may be a bit harsh for my taste.. some of it holds true. My larger affiliates take the time to make there own galleries that they can brand to fit there traffic. We also host them on there own server for them. That way.. we can work close with them and make sure they are maximizing there efforts... It works... trust me. Many do just grab banners and put up text links... Depending on there traffic.. that may work just fine for them. We also have a ton of affiliates that use our hosted galleries. We get about 3 million views a day to our hosted. We weed out the galleries tha tare not clicking through well and uhdate with fresh galleries to insure fresh content out there all the time. A ton of effort goes into that process. With saying that... we have done our homework with our processors as well as looked at many others. We are going to add a cascading billing situation soon as well as run our own stats here starting in Jan... thus ending the "cookie" situation you refer to. All of this will help Im sure, but I know of other programs that have tried processors other the ccbill and then pulled it back. Much larger programs then mine. Our sales have never been better here... in fact.. we are going to have the best month we have ever had since day one... this month. So, its very hard for me to see your situation from where I sit. I log into our admin and see the stats of over 1000 affiliates and see nothing close to the problems you suggest.

A lot of this CCBill hate is just purely illogical. I mean, a program paying $50 per free trial, sure they are shaving just to survive, but a 50% to 60% revshare ccbill program, why should we shave?
A $24.99 signup nets me over $20 with CCbill. Even if I give 60% to the guy who made the sale, that leaves me $8.00. My bandwith costs 10 cents per gig, so the average member who pulls out 2 gig a month cost me 20 cents and I made $8.00, and I need to be greedy? I have affiliates who never do over 1:2000, and a few who do like 1:300 or even 1:200, it all depends on what you put in to it. Where or where is the incentive for me to shave? If I do your ratios go to shit and you stop promoting me, where is the mad cow?

This fluctuation in sales is the very reason we only promote sponsors with 3 or more billing programs, so that when one drops off we change traffic to the others. We are noticing a massive drop with Epoch and for us CCbill is up about 15% this month. I am sure its just different traffic and site combinations , it could also be that processors have to regulate some areas or countries to keep their charge backs low.

People people people. Don't go changing up all your sponsors because a few people are having a shitty month. And definetaly don't back away if you're thinking of signing up with a CCBILL sponsor. How do you know that one program could be the one that makes you bank?
Try it yourself. Just like theres a customer for every niche online, not every surfer will buy the same shit. Same with you, not every program will work for you, and some will do wonders. It's different when 100 people say they havent gotten paid, but a few people complaining about sales, it's just not worth taking it into consideration until you've tried it yourself. And even IF it doesnt work for you, your opinion is great, but to spread shit around like "CCBILL sucks" or some crap, is just pure ignorance. |

i think ccBill is a good company. I jsut don't make as much per raw with any ccbill site as I do with ARS or Topbucks. If i suck as a marketer it does not matter as I suck for all of those options equally. I use the banners and content as i need it. I just make less money. I suspect I have to qualify a revshare person harder as just getting a signup is only part of the battle.

I started pushing one CCBill sponsor a little & noticed a sale & a rebill show up, then disappear later in the day (different days). I thought maybe they were reversals, but nothing is in the chargeback or refund columns...just gone.
Haven't sent much traffic, so no big deal...but still odd. |

i haven't send much traffic to ccbill but overall this month im about 1:800. remember when looking at your ratios how ccbill counts clicks in comparison to many PPS sponsors.
