personally i've got my check fraud way down by taking off ccbill and ibill checking and using netbilling checking.

problem is, netbilling is approx 60% declines (maybe the declines are mostly fraud attempts, don't know)

we all need a VIABLE long-term substitution for credit cards, and recurring checking is a good model if the fraud issues can be addressed.

Almost guaranteed that most of the checks we stop are fraud. Since you can also set your own level of fraud scrubbing in our system, you may want to losen the scrub a little if you would like to test it out more. Feel free to call/email support for assistance or come by our booth at Internext.

Our check processing has really been catching on and webmasters are saving $$$ more than ever because of our low rates.

The thing is I only use ccbill and it will be unfair for me at least since I dont use a custom script for affiliates to use a check processor that affiliates wont get commission.

So far many who wanted to join by checked called in it will take me a good 2 weeks now to see the results, ill report then.

Any chance you can have your telephone system require that you present caller id using *82? If you can figure out how to include this, I think you'd be there.

Having worked for a number of U.S. phone companies, I'm sure I could help you come up with a couple of ways to get around that way out.

The way I have it set up is that even if you block your number the ANI is delivered real time and is played back to the caller.

No need for *82 if you cant block your number to begin with.

I tried it from Australia and got through and got to the ccbill check page.

System detected a US 972 area code number - ended with 0000 so im assuming the exchange calls from aus come in from.

Aren't there privacy implications with this system? In Australia (as far as I know) ANI is only released to a very limited set of customers such as emergency services. Everyone else gets CLI/CND, which will not show if the caller has blocked it.

Why not send the bad check data to one of those check collection agencies? They work on a % and even if they dropped your % based on the service it would be better then nothing.

WTS has their own inhouse collection service, which could explain why Brad's doing well with us. If you don't make money, we don't make money.
