Good luck bro! I used the inhaler to help me..but didn't usually use it unless I was going out somewhere..so basically did it cold turkey. First 3 days or so are the most challenging..and then believe it or not..it DOES get better!

I personally loved smoking but it was gonna kill me of I continued and that a fact...id smoke for no reason and anytime was a good time to light uP!
I finally Quit Nov 17 2003 when BrentD decided he would try to quit and seemed pretty serious about it so i gave it a gO cause I had been thinking about it for awhile, I still have fucking cravings which are sometimes overwhelming!!!!
I even surived one week in mexico and I drank the whole week...thk god for weed hehe...

Anyway good luck to you bro but be very strong if your serious...moments of weakness are always 2 seconds away and they suck when trying to nix that shit for good.

i quit smoking em cold turkey 97 coughed up blackness for awhile, id be sleeping and just start hacking up coal.

no matter what, stick with it... dont fucking give in, youll hate yourself.

Word from someone who quit cigs: the craving almost will never go away, i still get them sometimes, but you HAVE to fight it off, and dont give in, its too easy to crawl right back into the arms of nicotine.

DONT REPLACE CRAVINGS WITH FOOD.

you WILL GAIN WEIGHT, and FAST.

i gained 25 lbs when I quit smoking, had to lose it and did, but it was a bad experience and I didnt know, so I started eating a little more.

get some gum or something but dont replace cravings with snacks.

The one true downside of quitting. I think almost everyone that has quit has gone through the dreaded 20-25 pound weight gain. But then your appetite does return!

Damn..now I want a snickers bar.
