For serious matters like war and the like, there should have to be an annonymous vote, either everyone agree's and it goes ahead (everyone with the exception of the attacker and the defender) and see how that works out.

The UN tries to do this, but fails, because of a few select countries that refuse to listen to what the rest of the civilized world has to say.

Just because a country is under the rule of a dictator doesn't make it uncivilized... Many Iraqi's living under Sadam didn't mention him and lived their lives. As long as they didn't do anything or say anything against him, they were safe.

An uncivilized country would be Africa, where even the lions are dying of aids, and the world turns a blind eye.

If the US was serious about helping countries, it'd help Africa. Not Iraq, which had been relativly normal for 10 years.

Last I heard, democracy sucked. Look at the US, the rich get richer, and the poor get poorer.

Imagine it in Iraq, where there's not many very wealthy people. Everyone would just get poorer.

I'd rather live in silence that live with hate, which is what the iraqi's are doing now that the US is there shooting anything that even remotly resembles an opponent.
