What is a holding company used for?

A holding co. owns the securities of other companies. (and control them) They can operate as normal companies. Not sure if there are any special characteristics.

Opening a Czech company was one of the most dificult things I ever did, nightmare with the investigation and paperwork.# The Californian Corp. was easy to open P & E Entertainment or D & B Holdings. In the UK I was Astal Blue or UK Photo Agency. Always have a company in front of you, gives you something to sell and you don't lose your house if it goes belly up. |
