LasVegas: Aladdin Hotel-Casino Is SOLD...

Its been no secret that the Aladdin Hotel has had some SERIOUS financial problems since it has opened a few years ago and has been on the market even rumors of considered bankruptcy protection were in the talks..

Well not any longer.

Planet Hollywood just bought it..

Can you say YUCK..

As if that Casino was tacky enough, now its being said that the whole theme will be changed to that of a planet Hollywood..

Famous for its shitty food,, shitty restaurants, and shitty image..

Kinda shocked.

LOL!!

They say the Jenies Lamp in the front of the Aladin will be replaced by a Planet Hollywood Globe!

http://www.findarticles.com/cf_dls/m.../article.jhtml

Too bad K-Mart didnt buy Aladin.
IT would be equally as funny to see a big "K" replace the Jenie's lamp.

I thought you were going to say Lightspeed bought it. He'd have turned it into a hella funner casino than Planet Hollywood will!

how fun...looking at clothes actually worn in a movie..AND...you get a snap shot of them wearing it

This is about a year ago, I do believe at the time Plant Hollywood itself was still under some kind of bankruptcy.. I think the other bidder was Hard Rock but PH had more cash or something..

Aladdin is great hotel..but with no real strip entrance it is killing their traffic..supposedly they are going to just blow up that big front area..and make it more accessible to drive into and walk into.

London Club is the bomb..

Brad and Kimmy getting the jump on the news and always making sure to let people know it..

Its a wonder why they ever broke up..

Annoying arrogance does not attract I guess.

anyhow it was new to me.

I heard rumor after rumor about this for a while and last Summer when I was there the pit bosses were telling me about it and I thought it was joke. They were laughing about it as well. They are probably fired by now.. Not good to laugh at the company who buys ya.

What a shitty brand for the public though.
Planet Hollywood Casino.

Just sounds cheesy..

London Club inside the Aladdin is pretty much only place I play. You hear things. Of course I can not afford to gamble there anymore but they still serve me free drinks.

The question is, will you Brad Shaw still be a high roller and brag about it when it is the Planet Hollywood Casino??

Maybe they will have a pic of you next to Arnold?

I have never been much of a high roller. Gambling is boring to me. I get bored, throw all my $ out, and head to cheetahs. I would be better off going straight to cheetahs.

Not sure what that means..
But I do understand the Cheetah's concept.

I make a trip there every time.
After the wife is asleep.

That place is too sleazy for the wife. But just right for me.

Blow me, I dont recall it being either of our jobs to keep anyone up to date on the casino ownership situation in Vegas. If you are there enough, you know people and they tell you things.

Nothing more, nothing less.
