Its been no secret that the Aladdin Hotel has had some SERIOUS financial problems since it has opened a few years ago and has been on the market even rumors of considered bankruptcy protection were in the talks..

Well not any longer.

Planet Hollywood just bought it..

Can you say YUCK..

As if that Casino was tacky enough, now its being said that the whole theme will be changed to that of a planet Hollywood..

Famous for its shitty food,, shitty restaurants, and shitty image..

Kinda shocked.

Didn't Planet Hollywood they have a ton of their own financial problems?

They say the Jenies Lamp in the front of the Aladin will be replaced by a Planet Hollywood Globe!

lol, yup. Various reasons we were told some good things about their disabled facilities which for us is a big deal..plus computers in the rooms is one less laptop taken across the atlantic.

Old news, the actual sale closed about a month ago when we were up there as a matter of fact.

This is about a year ago, I do believe at the time Plant Hollywood itself was still under some kind of bankruptcy.. I think the other bidder was Hard Rock but PH had more cash or something..

Aladdin is great hotel..but with no real strip entrance it is killing their traffic..supposedly they are going to just blow up that big front area..and make it more accessible to drive into and walk into.

anyhow it was new to me.

I heard rumor after rumor about this for a while and last Summer when I was there the pit bosses were telling me about it and I thought it was joke. They were laughing about it as well. They are probably fired by now.. Not good to laugh at the company who buys ya.

London Club inside the Aladdin is pretty much only place I play. You hear things. Of course I can not afford to gamble there anymore but they still serve me free drinks.

I have never been much of a high roller. Gambling is boring to me. I get bored, throw all my $ out, and head to cheetahs. I would be better off going straight to cheetahs.

Blow me, I dont recall it being either of our jobs to keep anyone up to date on the casino ownership situation in Vegas. If you are there enough, you know people and they tell you things.
