Is it mandatory to fucking TIP, you can't expect a tip, a tip is good to get, but you can't always expect it!

I run/own a restaurant, when ppl ask me about tipping i tell them
only tip if the service/food was good, and that coming back is the best form of tipping,
they usually do tip then :Graucho

mind you we pay $13+/hour

my wife used to work as a cart girl at a very high end type golf course here in southern california. She used to tell me how black customers would always first ask her what they had on the cart for free. Then they would ask the prices of a few items then complain about the price of the grape or orange soda they wanted to buy..then not tip. Same exact experience every day...most of these guys were rolling up in Benzes and BMW's

A few things boy are some of you cheap lol. Well they are making 6 something a hour so I dont tip. You try living on 6 something a hour lol. Also this urban legand about black men tipping alot in strip clubs. I worked in strip clubs and jack shacks for 15 yrs, historically black men always tried to get the most from the girl for the least amount of money and I am far from a racist I live in one of the largest African American neighborhoods in Atlanta.

blacks dont tip, because when we go somwhere nice and act like civilized people.. the employess wanna act like there above us.. so therefore.. they dont deserve shit....

What about the fucker in the bathroom at the strip club. all dressed up, turning on the water faucet for you. handing you paper towels. offering you a spray of cologne or a mint or candy...

Fuck that guy. I can dry my own damn hands... I WANT to dry my own hands in a public toilet.. invest in an automatic sensor tap and fuck that guy off, I don't want to be pressured into accepting unwanted services and then have to pay for them..
I paid one guy $5 but personally I find it very off-putting...

LOL! Too funny! When I was in High school/College I used to deliver pizza in my hometown. We used to always get this guy who would order every couple of nights. He always used to get the same thing... A medium cheese pizza... Came to like $6.98 or something stupid. Anyways this guy never left a tip and the worst thing was that he STUNK. I mean this guy must have had some fierce medical condition as the whole fucking hallway to his apartment smelled like him. It was absolutely fucking disgusting!!!

The delivery guys I would work with would do anything to be out of the shop whenever that guy's order came in. It was almost like russian roulette to get someone to deliver to this guys house. The funniest thing was that the guy was less than a block away!

P.S. I can't really comment on the whole black thing as we had like all of 10 black families in our entire town growing up. And for the most part they were whiter than us! LOL! :winkwink:

"Unskilled fucking light labor"....MY ASS...This is Headpimp's wife and I waited tables for 15 years. I earned every damn dime that I made and I worked my ass off for it. I was very good at what I did and I don't feel at all ashamed for expecting a descent tip. I do believe that it is a courtesy and not a requirement and I prided myself in treating every table no matter who they were with excellent service and respect. I have worked for many different restaurants all the way up to five star steak houses and there is nothing like kissing someones ass, being at their beckon call and having them stiff you. If you don't like to tip, no problem. Just dine at places where it is not a standard and enjoy your happy meal. If you all will shove a $5 bill down the g-string of some bimbo who shakes her tits in your face for 10 seconds, then it shouldn't be too much to ask to tip someone who spends 1-2 hours waiting on you hand and foot.

The tip should really go to the chef who made the food, not someone just carrying the plate 20 feet to your table.

Its their fucking job to carry over the food and take orders, and the company pays them for it. Yet they somehow convinced us they should be paid extra money for doing their job.
Many many people work harder then a waiter for minimum wage and don't get tips. Should those people do a shitty job cause the customer isn't PAYING them ontop of their salary from the company?
