The funny thing about the ultra sociallists, first their spin is, George Bush SR should have finished the job. Then when we go back again they say we should have never gone.

Saddamm made certain argreements to stay in power and has been nothing but a pain in the ass and destabilizing the region ever since.

Im not going to even mention the tons of people he has killed, because then someone will say well so and so kills that many in south america etc, why not take them out.

He has to answer for his crimes. Crimes such as saying one bad word about the guy and be tortured to death.

But hey, he always got 100% of the vote. Even Hitler didnt win elections that easy. lol

It had to be done for many reasons. Couldn't go on forever with that no fly zone stuff. Bush 43 had to finish the job for Bush 41 is maybe the shortest answer. And in the case of the early '90s, he did attack first.

A real discussion would take a book, so it would be smarter for me to go back to work and stay out of the political discussion. Seems as all it does is piss people off anyway.

Neither Sr nor Jr should have "finished the job". The UN should have finished it. No country by itself has the right to invade any other country if that country isn't posing a direct threat to them.

Telling the international community to go fuck itself sets a very bad precedent and only leads to more global tension.

In all fairness, most of the people who hate the US are irrelevant. They don't have any significant political, economical or military power, and thus their opinions do not matter a lot.

Oddly enough, I actually agree with you on this one. Well, except for the economic motivation you seem to imply. It's pretty clear the US are losing money on the contracts they are are paying for.

that's due to the electoral college system, different states have a different number of seats. he won the election / the chads probably could have got gore over the line if the court battle wasnt won by bush .. from memory
