I cried today

I cried today when I listened to "Amazing Graze" quite loud.
Well, bad day as well... lol.
Am I strange or does this tune make you sad too?

No, you're not strange at all. Amazing Grace is a very beautiful and emotional song.

I love the amazing grace sequence at the end of Silkwood. If you haven't seen that movie and sequence, I suggest it to you.

You're not strange at all. It's perfectly normal for people to get emotional re certain musical stimuli. I get emotional when the old Filipino song "Bayan Ko" is played. Makes me think back to the struggles of the Filipino people. I am Filipino-American by the way.

It's amazing you say that.... For some odd reason it's the only song I can completely play from beginning to end on my guitars... I was just doing it a little while ago and felt a little more emotional than usual cuz I'm about to go to my daughters Xmas concert any minute and my family is going through alot with my grandpa dying yesterday... I really love that song and always have

I find this tune really emotional. Makes me think a lot. Also bust me up on off days. Like some bozo told, Amazing.

It happens. It's part of what makes us human--the ability to connect on an emotional level.
