I think the site looks too complicated and confusing and does not entice surfers to click. What do you think?

(Please everyone help give haddict some advice. I have been helping me out somewhat and I want him to get some opinions from fellow GFY members.)

good points, too much going on . If you want to increase overall prod the best thing to do is minimize ads at the beggining and so on, Also mix up the layout to see which one works the best.

Not taking 10 mins to load would be nice.

Dont put everything in a big table. thats a design no no DIVs are your friend.

I think so too.

I just see too much text. And this is after a lot of text has been removed. Even the main banner has text in it. I think this makes for a confusing website. If I am right, what's the fix? Remove the majority of text, and put up more thumbs?

The thumbs have text at the top and bottom of them too, which help increase the prod on the sites that they link too, but I'm not sure if it's working in the big picture (for growing traffic).

Good advice. If you put everything in one huge table, then the whole table must load before anything is displayed, DESPITE it being loaded. You could have 99% of your site loaded, and IE will not display it until the last 1% is loaded if it is all in one huge table.

I think that ads should be cut down on also, from the AP banner on the left column down through all of those sponsor text links, I think that's waaaay too many sponsor links. You'd be better off putting up some sponsor hosted gallery links or something in there to give the surfers something that they'll like to make them click more.

The only thing that I see that the site offers are the Choker links at the bottom of the page, other than that, it's sponsors and a few links to your trades. Give your visitors more and they'll click more.

It appears his server is slightly slow, and his site design contains all his code in one table... this together equals slow loading as four of you have mentioned so far.

If you can, please post examples of sites with designs that should produce high prod. Not to copy, but just to get an idea of how clean these sites are.

I didn't notice any changes and the load time is still a bit slow. As far as changes i didn't really look at the original very long so I may not have noticed.

I am getting a bit faster ping though at average of 78ms

put not everything in 1 table because then the whole table must be loaded to show up, just place everything under each other so it loads intsanlty after eachother, a tip for most sites I think:D

I do not think he made enough changes. The site sill looks confusing and NOT enticing to click on.

Also, the site in one huge table has to go.

Slow and non-productive traffic trading sites die.
