You are correct on this point. I was alive and conscious during Tipper's PMRC days, and this was a valuable lesson on Democratic wives.

The one thing people forget is that Republican Presidents do NOT let their wives get involved with their job. Name me one Democratic President who's wife wasn't up in their shit. Their husbands got elected, they didn't! I think it is difficult for them to understand that.

Laura Bush does charitable work, and fights for children's rights etc.

Hillary Clinton, this goes without saying, but she had her health care plan (socialism at its finest), she was behind much of the WhiteHouse for hire, and the list goes on.

Barbara Bush focused on literacy, and looking close to death. She did it well.

Nancy Reagan had her "Just Say No' campaign, but stayed out of the big game of the Cold War. Hell the woman was on Different Strokes, she must be cool.

Rosalyn Carter was up in Jimmy's shit all the time, she made it her duty to attend Cabinet meetings, and constantly be up Jimmy's ass. Additionally, was trying to push religion on Larry Flynt.

Betty Ford - The name says it all.

Pat Nixon - Charities and volunteering

Lady Bird - Helped push more soldiers to their death in Vietnam.

Jackie Kennedy - Stayed the hell out of JFK's affairs both political and private. She picked up JFK's brains after he was shot. Now that is a first lady.

why do u think China keeps their dollar down? why so that other countries can easily afford to buy their products and also so that locals can only afford to buy local products.

this works the same way to canada, as many of our exports go to the usa, as our dollar rises they will look elsewhere for similar imports.
