Most are FHG farms... but does hourly updates really increase CTR?

average surfer does not know what a fhg gallery is and i have like 2k of em in my db updated hourly and small chance any surfer will know the diff between fhg or joe schmo submitting his stuff

Ive enoticed that most of those 1 hour update tgps arent just FHG farms, but they are hitbot farms.

One webmaster in particualr owns most of em..

that's not true at all. no "big" tgps with lots of bookmarkers have 100% fhg. alot more surfers than u think can tell the difference. once u have enough traffic and bookmarkers, selling gallery spots is the way to go

www.ampland.com used to have almost no hosted galleries, now its just one big FHG farm... Average AOL'ers don't know any better, but it pisses me off, I used to go there alot.

ampland has been around forever, so let me edit my message.

You wont build bookmarkers if you have 100% hosted galleries.

True. Plus with FHGs being almost a REQUIREMENT for newer sponsors, you wouldn't have to worry about running out of supply.

Quick question--how do you resize? html parameters or making actual crop pics?
