Quick photoshop help needed!
Okay, so I am working on a site...it's almost done.
My question is, when I am ready to slice it all up...what is better? Small slices or bigger ones? I want to make sure it loads quick...but I am not sure if the way you slice it has anything to do with it. Thanks!!! Shannon |

imho it depends on the content of the slice....
If there are large quantities of the original psp with little color gradation make them a large gif, and use your jpg slices for areas where there is much gradation for ex skin tones. This is of couse if you hand slice, (which i prefer) as you can make these determinatins yourself.... Just be sure to include height and width tags and alt tags irregardless of which you choose to maximize download...also try to minimize your nested tables |
