Maybe when Berman said they don't have any new lawsuits on the horizon, that could be considered a "false statement"?

This doesn't mean much of anything for us.

The letters will still come. The lawsuits will eventually come in masses.

They've got this entire industry by the balls. All they have to do is squeeze and almost everyone is out of business via court order until they decide to sign.

Let's hear your reasons why you think otherwise.... or are you just one of the many webmasters who refuse to accept that the typical adult industry playgroud rules don't apply to this "real life" issue?

Rumor has it ACACIA stockholders are pissed off and in the midst of filing a class-action.

You need me to explain to you why this is great for everyone involved?

Yes, that's pretty much true. The vast majority don't make enough for it to be worth their while to even show up in court, much less fight an entire suit.

The problem here is that these lowly affiliates keep the big business sponsors running. How much self promotion of their sites do you think guys like ARS, Nasty Dollars, TopBucks, etc... do?

They rely on the very people who are at the most risk with Acacia.

We don't know WHY they are pissed though, and that's aside from the fact that this is simply an unsupported rumor at this point.

What if some of their main holders are against doing business with porn? Then what? That could be trouble since Acacia does decide who gets a license and who does not.
