I object. I think some people are looser than others... especially in this industry!

I was thinking the same thing...No offense to the contest entrants. The old one had a classy look though that was very distinct.

Maybe shoot for $200 , I wont enter for less .. and Im sure you'll bring a few more outta the woodwork .. any designer knows that its just not worth it to do a logo for " a crack " at $50 ..

FYI .. I flirted with the idea of doing it for fun , but dont take paypal .

hmmm now let me get this straight...

designers want $200 to make a 15 minute logo design but yet designers only want $20-$40 to make gallery templates that take 20-90 minutes to make???

Am I missing something here or are designers jacking prices up to be 10 times what design is truely worth and makign the industry harder and harder to profit from when your spending all money on designs???

Now people know why our programmign company is at $28 per hour to program instead of $75-$150 per hour like some of these other companies that actually think programming is worth $150 an hour lol.

I get programmers all the time telling me that they would love to work but won't do any projects that take more then 1-2 days to complete because they are too lazy to keep focused on it (yes they will actually tell you this truthfully), so I would be safe in saying that desginers are the same way, they want to make the top buck in less then a days work...

Oliver, nice to see someone from germany here ;)
well, i think you really came out this contest without beeing cheap. 150 bucks is a nice ammount of money for a logo.

trough, as many other told before, i would stick with your old logo. the one that won looks nice and all, but there are 100s of logos like that in the web. you had something like an corporate identity there, way better to be kept in my by clients.

and to BrentD, you really have no idea my friend. sure, a logo for 200 bucks is expensive. but to create better logo then hornycash has now, it would take an CI and some nice color playing in the firt place. that alone would cost me several hours and thats why i didnt kick in this contest. you should read the previous posts from me and machinegunkelly with more attention - no offence trough.
