Umm, I think two of them has gone down quite alot lately, this being one of them, not sure though.

Not much explains this update, except it is not finished yet, something has gone very wrong over there.

one of the things about this update is thast it removed 90% of the .biz domains and if a domain had good positioning because a .biz or many of them cross linked it ignored it.

This is just one of the things

What would be the logic to removing the .biz urls Surely they can be just as important to the surfers out there ?

My theory is that the weight of alot of newer backlinks just havent been factored in yet, there is still some fluctuation between the servers. I might be wrong though.
Also, they might have been penalized as well, not sure about that.

I am guessing the 90% would be artificially PR inflated sites.

I don't think www-sj has been active for a long time, it's actually just been redirecting to one of the other datacentres. Maybe they have just taken down the redirection..

I have seen a decrease in .biz spam but google's been treating me unusually nice lately. I had a cloaking script set up on a PR3 domain and within the past 2 days 3600+ pages have been crawled and indexed. I've never seen this kind of insane spidering even on higher PR pages that get crawled all the time.
