Also, I would like to invite people to check up on a couple new things we just added. You can now either view the list in a simple text format, or in a format which shows the date submitted and user submitted by (they all show by me and today currently as I had to re-enter them into the system). This is ofcourse just the first step. We are also currently working on adding a reason for field, and looking to add a 'trusted domains' list. Basic aim of trusted domains is so that legitimate webmasters can get their names on this list, and never have to worry about being wrongly blacklisted in the future. :) |

WTF??? :1orglaugh |

Most serious webmasters who post galleries get banned often - usually by their own referral codes that are left on galleries that get ripped of by people who submit your work only to redirect it after it gets listed - then your referral code gets banned. Cheater lists never work, been done many times over - the suggestion posted previously about having a trusted webmaster pool sounds like a better idea. |

These co-op blacklists are a pain in the ass. Always too many honest guys on them. I'll vouche for darksoft - no way is he a cheater. |

I'm blacklisting the next sumbitch who writes descriptions like:
"fuck blonde is making on the toilet" "couple making fuck on palace" "for her cock is making good pleasure" |
I also think having a pool of trusted webmasters is the way to go. I think it would really slow down the amount of crap cheat galleries. When a submit script is used, it checks the submission against the blacklist, but how hard would it be to turn it around so it would validate a known email address and accept the post. Sure, to the gallery submitter it would be a pain in the ass...but only in the beginning. If someone has contact me with an email that they will use to submit with as well as sample galleries, it keeps some "get rich quick" guy from filling the queue with galleries that reduce an honest guy's chance of being listed.
I love the idea...guilty until proven innocent :Graucho |
all I know is my next partner application form is asking for sample descriptions to go along with sample URLs
A "good guy" pool would be much easier to deal with. A submitter gets listed by sites that post his pages, or where he has a partner account/preferred status - or buys spots - whatever. |
