Do supermarkets chains sell carob?

Does anyone know if the major supermarket chains sell carob or do I have to go to specialty markets?

do you need actual carob seeds (or pods or whatever they're called) or carob flavored stuff? in socal we have several carob selections in every supermarket - and whole foods (who rock!) is in many locations in the u.s. http://www.wholefoods.com/stores/

I know they sell products that contain carob. There's a little section for sugar free foods, they're in that area.

Carob tastes like shit.

My mother used to buy my brothers and I Carob easter eggs. I still haven't forgiven her.

Meijer and Kroger both have it. I've seen it in the produce and dried sections. I don't know WHAT it is exactly but they have it. lol Albertsons belongs to the same chain as Krogers, I believe, so it stands to reason one of those stores would have it too. Or could get it.

If not in the health section, try the bakery aisle, where you'd buy seasonings or those chocolate thingies for toll house cookies.
