Can you come into the industry today and make money? The short answer is yes.

The long answer is much more complicated. Many people come into the adult industry with the illusion that its easy money. They think they can come look at porn all day and be making big money and hang out with models. Its not that simple. Many webmasters spend 12-20 hours per day online and working. If you are a newbie you will have to work even HARDER. Information is power. Learn EVERYTHING you can. Research. Look at what other people are doing. Read tutorials. Ask questions. Yes you can make money submitting TGP galleries. Yes you can make money doing AVS or whatever its called now. No you cannot make money if you have no idea what you are doing.


It takes money to make money. If you cant spend at least a couple hundred dollars to get started then your chances of making it are much slimmer. A lot of sponsors will provide free content and hosting. Sometimes its better to buy your own so YOU are in control. Sometimes what the sponsors gives is sufficient to start with. It all depends on your plan. You cant come into this industry without a plan and hope to make money. This goes back to research. Find out what you WANT to do. Find something you enjoy doing. If you start submitting galleries and hate every second of it, chances are you will not make very much money. There are so many options in this business. You can make content, you can run a link list, you can make free sites, you can make AVS sites, you can submit galleries, you can run a TGP, you can have a paysite, and much much more. Find a few things you like and make a plan.

You can come into this business today and make a full-time income within a few months. Is anyone going to give you step by step instructions? No.

1. Learn as much as possible.
2. It takes money to make money.
3. Dedication and hard work. 18 hour days.

Well same goes if they are trying to promote a program.

So many come in today and all they look at is who pays more per signup, then they figure out that penispills pay well and some over promoted program, they spend time and money to promote it and in most cases get NADA, even if they know marketing.

Its a waste of time anyway writing to most people who start in these days since they know everything anyway, plus they know a guy that gets 200 signups off a hun gallery.

I agree with what you are saying, but you cant find a BETTER way to do something without knowing the way that everyone is currently doing it. A lot of time should be spent on research.

I think you're right - I started the exclusive content provider/model agency biz here in Sofia about 9 months ago and I'm already seeing repeated customers and some money coming in our way.

It does take some research but I think at the end it's what you do that matters. A lot of guys will research month after month - for ever. You allocate 6 months to research, then devise a plan that's flexible enough and start working HARD. When you start seeing some results, you focus on what's giving you these results and work even harder

Depends on the budget.

These days the webmaster services (design, hosting, content, programming etc etc) end of the business is pretty big.

If you have big budget you could probably hire and buy your way to expierience and profits. Sex still sells.

But a broke newbie whos last/alternate job was/is flipping burgers, with minimal knowledge of the industry or the technologies that support it - no chance.


It's just like anything else... imagine you wanted to make money 'healing people' if you are poor and undereducated, you have to go to college, then medical school & then after years of being an underling, you might be able to open your own practice.

If you have a big budget, you build a HMO and hire all the doctors you want.

Survival rates for the average startup business are 10% in 5 years, 5% in 10 years. So adult is just a "regular" business from this perspective. However, in my opinion, survival rates in adult are much lower than 10% (as stated by SoulRebel above).

Ok, heres my story. I've started in this biz 8 months ago cause i lost my job. A friend of mine, his name is Joker, told me that there is a good chance to earn some money in this biz. But he warned me, that it will be a hard work.

Ok, i decided to try it. I spent every minute i had to the biz. The first thing i've tried was the gallery building and submitting. I figured out really fast, that this isnt my fulfillment. With this cognition i started to build up my first TGP. After a few weeks my TGP begun to grow. I had 20k visitors a day and earned some bucks. I thought "wow! all the things are ok now!". not a minute after my thought my TGP went down due a server harddisc crash. My provider told me, that all my data was lost and that it takes a few days to change the harddisc cause there are none in stock. Ok ... that was my TGP. I lost 90% of my visitors due the downtime. after the new hard disc was installed, i've builded up 4 new TGP's and spent all the time i had to the new sites. Ok, result is, that my TGP's are growing again. I earn some bucks from them, maybe $4000 a month. That is more than i have ever earned in my life before.

But hey .... i am not really happy. I think i have payed a really high price for the success. I lost my girlfriend and all my friends cause i have spent too much time to the biz. No money can bring me my girlfriend or my friends back. So be warned ... dont forget the other important things in your life ... your family and your friends!!

I think, it is a really small path between success or failure.

i really think that any idiot can make a little money on the side in this business. but i think thats all that 99% of the people that try CAN make. some people "have it", most people dont. this industry takes alot of self discipline and alot of "sitting" on the computer reading forums trying to come up with ideas and strategies.

bascially, if your a lazy person by nature with little or no drive/ambition, i dont think u will make much. but yes i do think you can make "some" money
