Netscape with Norton AV running works nice.

We've used it for mail since 94 and never had a problem.

I've been running Eudora since before MS knew what the internet was... the new 6.0 just came out and it rocks!

The mail program in Opera browser is fairly straight forward and simple to use.

I used to use Eudora way back when. I use Netscape now and am pretty pleased with it. I never have liked Outlook.
