I'm an ARS affilliate and I think it sucks that you (ARS) are putting your dialer ad under my name and then getting pretty offensive when someone complains about it. I've always respected ARS but I am a little shocked by your attitude with your affilliates. You've definately gotten some bang for your advertising bucks because you've made a lasting impression with me and I'm sure others even though they may not say here.

I personally just hate dialers. I would be happy to place any other ad you have in my sig for free, or where your dialer ad is showing up at.

Sleazy - not by my own admission am I saying anything near that. I have ALREADY stated that I (as many many others) understand that the board is currently being sponsored by ADS and that the logo appears on every 3rd post.

All I can say is, use the dialer, you'll love it, you'll be pleased at the additional revenues and you never know, you may WANT that logo there :) If you promote excellence we are a perfect match!

Now that I think about...Sleazy, are you just pissed you didn't think of it sooner?

RockDaddy - I can appreciate everyone's opinion, including yours. However, I would like the opportunity to educate you on dialers more so you understand them fully and THEN can create an opinion if they are bad. I only assume you don't fully understand them because they are not the big bad monsters they once were. I can understand a billing mehtod that charges $5-7 / min to access content. However, dialers are DEFINITELY not that anymore.

In regards to your post about may attitude, as I had said earlier, I meant no ill will toward Sleazy in my post! If attitude was perceived, my apologies :)

Popping a dialer on his TGP would be the best way to run off his surfers, which is exactly why i dont use dialers, I let cecash handle who gets a dialer or not.. AFTER the surfer has left my site

I rather have a membership fee here, than some unknown (or known) sponsor showing up in my post.

I think it's a brilliant idea, very brandable and unless you just like to complain for nothing, there's really nothing that offensive about it. I'm glad were talking about this. ARS and their dialer, ADS, are the top companies in this industry, if not #1. GFY wouldn't partner with anyone but the best. After all, just look at the corp. sponsors for Webmaster Access.

The inline button is nothing more than an ad spot.

Why every third post? So it would appear on most scroll areas.

Why there? It's an unused area. Would you prefer a 468x60 in between every third post? I think not. And no one thinks you put it there.

Functionally, the rest of GFY is totally the same, it's just aesthetics that changed.
