Makes ya wonder if other restaurants got them as well. I guess we would have heard about it by now + I'm sure all restaurants threw them away by now that could have had them.

It happened at the local mall here. I've eaten there many times. Definately scary.

i'm a chef, and honestly this scares me. if there is bacteria like this on produce? i really was not aware that it could be transmitted like that. produce needs to be thouroughly washed, it's never really even considered under serve safe guidelines. alot of place do not wash their produce.

They are thinking it was possible it was the green onions since there has been a couple of other outbreaks in the south related to them. As an amatuer chef I wouldn't even think of eating vegatables that weren't thoroughly washed. Who knows what's on them?
