GFY Sponsorship Of Racing team?

Been club-racing my car since I moved to NV. The last two events I attended Iv'e been sporting the GFY shirt and getting laughs. Time to cut a sponsorship deal with Lensman I'll gladly slap a gigunda GFY banner across the hood in exchange for the price of a few sets of racing tires and brakes

Last outing at Spring Mountain Raceway in Pahrump,, the Vipers were running a few seconds slower than we were.

It's all about the driver and the track. Some tracks favor higher horsepower, some don't. You could put a crappy driver in that Porsche and it makes no fucking difference how many HP his car has. Too many variables to give you a flat answer but the Viper's we were stomping were running 450-500 HP ;) so it's possible.

The stock Vettes were gettign creamed. There was one heavily modded Z-06 that was 2nd fastest time of the day and very fast.

Heh maybe so but I'm still hoping someone wants to buy some advertising on it

Stu: Wazzat? I don't see a class designator on it. Looks fast I'm guessing 7.5- 8's in the 1/4?

If Lensman is going to start sponsoring racers, then I'm getting my kart ready for next season.

That rocks

Never drove a shifter kart; they have 200cc Sodikarts and a pretty good indoor track at fastlap. I hear shifters are brutal so one of these days I'll have to get into one of those.

In 2001 I took 2nd place in an oval kart at the Texas State Championship in IKF, Spec Modified class. Raced with AJ Foyt IV a little before he moved up to Indy cars.

Yeah they are very brutal, they can pull 3 g's in the turns and accelerate like a rocket and stop on a dime. Definately not for the inexperienced.

Nice In a previous life I used to race bikes with WERA but these days it's all on 4 wheels. Since moving from the East coast I've been taking big hits from the go fast crack pipe with a club racing outfit and running the S2000 Challenge. Beats shoveling snow

Come on, I know some of you high-rollers are looking for a little mainstream ad exposure. In the new commercial spirit of GFY, who wants to be the first porn company to buy banners on race cars?
