Acacia Financial Managers Discussion

I love financial reports :-)

http://biz.yahoo.com/e/031113/actg10-q.html

Under "risk factors" (read "subsidiary as us poor schmucks in the adult industry)

o our subsidiary companies' products and services face uncertain market acceptance; o technological advances may make our subsidiary companies' products and services obsolete or less competitive; o competition is intense in the industries in which our subsidiaries do business; o increases in operating costs, including costs for supplies, personnel and equipment; o the availability and cost of capital; o general economic conditions; and o governmental regulation that excessively restricts our subsidiary companies' businesses.

They are also talking about their operating expenses being 1.7 million and their revenue only about 186k in fees.

You made this statement like it is stupid of them to spend 1.7 million and only collect 186k. The 186k would come in forever! Sounds like a great fucking investment to me.

It's won't be 186k if alot of the money was from one-time fees to get the big names for scare tactics purposes .

All of the Acacia Technologies group's DMT license agreements provide for recurring license fee payments to be made by the respective licensees over the term of the licenses. Based on information provided by our licensees, annualized revenues from DMT licensing agreements executed to date are estimated to be between approximately $1.1 million and $1.5 million.

We have sustained substantial losses since our inception resulting in an accumulated deficit, as of September 30, 2003, of $178.3 million (including a reclassification of accumulated deficit in the amount of $21.7 million to permanent capital representing the fair value of the ten percent (10%) stock dividend paid in 2001) on a consolidated basis. We may never become profitable or if we do, we may never be able to sustain profitability. We expect to incur significant research and development, marketing, general and administrative expenses. As a result, we expect to incur significant losses for the foreseeable future.

I do believe that 'sweetheart' deals were given, because the numbers don't seem to add up... but, the patent licensing would be yearly... so they would be building up a renewing yearly revenue stream.

Agree, Why the hell is there not a fire burning to help Brandon get Fight The Patent off the ground? Would some of you big guys lend support. Sleazy, if you say you pledged, that would make a difference.
