Personally I thought Revolutions was horrible.
The first 20 minutes were awesome. The train station between the real world and the Matrix was a unique concept, but then they made it into a boring mechfest where they just stand and shoot at the same boring CG squid. Lame. The ending was really naive and anti climatic too and relied on far too much deus ex machina for my tastes. If you want to see a *really* good movie, see "hero". It's a foreign film made in China. I saw it during my stay in Hong Kong. Excellent film with special effects comparable to the Matrix, but with a much deeper story.

People need to realize that Reloaded and Revolutions alone were not complete movies. They're parts 1 and 2 of 2. What does that mean? You have to watch them both back to back in order to get the proper feel.. ie: rising action in the plot, multiple small climaxes leading up to a large and final climax and then a resolution. |
