Is it just me? Or do other ppl using safari/gecko have this prob on GFY?

One of the Adult.com flash banners isn't done properly. I think it is the "Adult.com announcement introducing "playboy cash" one.

It ends up taking up half the screen, it makes me refresh the thread to see the site properly again.

This present a grave issue to my gfy enjoyment, because I'm a lazy bastard.

Therevore I hate having to use the refresh button. Too much mouse movement for me.

Case in point, its taken me 3 weeks to write these 5 paragraphs explaining the problem.

thanks

yeah. the adult.com banner does it to me too. i think they use a layer of some kind instead of the traditional ad.

layers cant be transparent in safari is my understanding.

Never got that problem, but anybody ever have it where they cant click on the links as if they dont exist? Randomly it comes up, and I gotta refresh it if i wanna click on a thread sometimes.

Yep the adult.com banner does it to me in Safari to the question is why are you still using Safari. The latest release of Mozilla Firebird has become my primary because that bitch is fast.

Mozilla got their shit together? I may try it out.

I know, but I'm fucking lazy. I'll guess I'll add a hot key.

Mozilla Firebird the latest nightly builds all since .71 about 2 weeks ago seem to be nearly twice as fast as Safari to me and I don't get the banner problem. Although it's not handling WMV and a couple small things well yet, it's much faster at rendering and scrolling.

I haven't tried it recently, but I think you can block that shit with Netbarrier. I used to block it all, but then I felt bad that Lensman was losing out.
