Heads up:
mIRC 6.12 has been released! (October 13th 2003) mIRC v6.12 has been released to address a remote vulnerability found yesterday, capable of crashing your mIRC. The vulnerability affects versions of mIRC from v6.0 onwards, so it is highly recommended that you upgrade to mIRC v6.12. You can do so by downloading the new mIRC from the download page!

I started using IRC like 6 years ago, kept up with the same people over there until about a year ago when things seemed to start to die down in the IRC world.

eXtreme is very nice, i used it for years.
even when i was making my own scripts, i still often preferred it over my own, it is rock solid :/

I remember the days Pirch (I think that's how you spell it) was still popular, had a scripting syntax very similar to Pascal. I used to hack it up a lot, good ol days ;)
