Evil Dead Special Edition DVD

I saw this shit back when it first hit the movies...one of the scariest damn movies I had ever seen.

Anyway picked up the DVD tonight...really sweet the cover is a mock up of the book of the dead.

Also picked up 28 days...I heard bad things about it but pretty sweet movie imo.

Gonna kick back and watch some more horror this weekend

2nd one I laughed my ass off...but that first one damn. We lived out in the boonies too. I was about 16-17 and came home late after watching it.
I parked my car looked at the woods across the street and ran my punk ass to the front door...LOL

I just watched 28 Days in a small dark room on a 100 inch screen in surround sound... has some parts that make you jump

its not bad if you like the older style of horror movies instead of all this new computer-generated crap

LOL we had the room dark and the sound cranked too...and you are right about jumping.

I was kicked back on the couch laying down and during one scene my legs must have gone 2 feet up in the air.

When there was a drive-in theatre in the neighborhood, that was the place to hang out for us old punk rockers...

and one summer the movie that played for like 2 months was Evil Dead 2... I'll never forget meeting everyone out there, and the guy with the keg to chip in to, and watching that movie on the big outdoors screen

Sweet.

Back in high school we all hung out at this drive in on Riverside Drive in Fort Worth that showed porn...lol they didn't care how old you were they just let anyone and everyone in.

Seriously nothing but a bunch of 15-19 year olds and a bunch of mexicans and all of us drinking beer and tailgating it all night long.

Good times man....good times.

Weee! Horror DVD talk. My brothers fiancee is working in New York right now and i gave her a budget to bring me as much horror DVDs as possible. She already picked a couple of Troma flicks and the latest Texas Chainsaw Massacre DVD release.

I still remember when my brother and i sneaked into the theather to watch evil dead 2. Pure glory.

Horror movies on the weekends? i just saw the dead next door and i am off to watch The Omen.

Horror movies all week long!

Great movie, I liked it when I first saw it, I was very young at that time.
